Watches Being Magnetized

Do not put mechanical watches close to a magnetic appliances, such as computers, TV, telephone and so on. There are many steel parts inside a mechanical watches, such as escapement wheel, screws and hair spring, etc, these materials are relatively easy to be magnetized. If the watch is magnetized it will affect the running of the watch and making the watch inaccurate. Though quartz watches do not have magnetization problems.
