The All New 2015 Rolex Design - Rolex Day-Date 40

In 1956 Rolex launched the first instantaneous jump week and date display, the Observatory Certified waterproof automatic watch Day-Date. This year the all new Rolex Day-Date 40, inheriting the spirit of the watch, refine the case lug, watch case, wider dial and re-design of the president watch straps to integrate much more with the Oyster case. Day-Date 40 uses the Rolex developed 3255 movement, and this movement has 14 patents, bringing the watch new level of precision, power reserve, reliability, shock resistance, anti-magnetic and easier calibration processes. The 3255 movement accuracy is twice as accurate for daily use, coupled with the new Rolex patented Chronergy escapement system, that combines the reliability of energy efficiency in one. Movement is made with nickel phosphorus, can resist magnetic interference. Balance wheel fitted with a modified blue Parachrom springs, it will be ten times more precise than conventional gossamer. The power reserve capacity also increased to 70 hours.

This time the Day-Date 40 only uses precious metals to make the watch case, yellow gold, white gold, rose gold and platinum, accompanied by a series of well-designed new dials. The platinum case is coupled with the unique ice-blue dial, laser etched with a slim case plus sunray pattern, so the reflected light is more unexpected. For other models they have four grid pattern, coupled with the new design Roman numeral hour markers.

Montrez believe these all are just the beginning, Rolex Day Date 40 preserves all classic written and magnifying week and date display window elements, adding the newly develop movement and dials, matching classic elements and new technology together. In the near future we believe Rolex will continue to innovate in a number of ways, injecting new technologies to meet Rolex fans.
