2015 Watches & Wonders New Model - Cartier Rotonde de Cartier Chronograph back to overview

In 2015 Cartier launched two fascinating chronograph Rotonde de Cartier Chronograph at Watches & Wonders.
Rotonde de Cartier Chronograph built in 1904-CH-MC in-house movement. Remember the last time Cartier use this movement was in the Calibre series, this time putting it in the Rotonde, it suddenly becomes a gentleman and generous watch.
There are two chronograph discs on the dial, but different from usual chronograph watch, three o'clock position is 30-minute timing display, nine o'clock position is 12-hours timing display, replacing the usually small seconds 30-minute chronograph. Central second hand is the chronograph hand, because it does not have the usual seconds hand, you must start the timing function to see the seconds. 6 o'clock position is the date, with roman numerals, sunray pattern dial, apple-shaped blue steel hands, available in stainless steel and white gold styles.
Montrez believe people who like chronograph are mostly attracted by the small discs on dial and the buttons on the case. Whether it is two or three discs, they determine the style of the watch. Usually three small discs layout makes the dial looks rich, while the two discs style is a balance of beauty, with a bit of retro twist. The new Rotonde de Cartier has two discs with also the date display, gives a traditional balance of beauty and yet some elegant taste.
