In 2015 Basel Watch Fair Tudor introduced a new generation of Pelagos. Tudor not only maintain the black color theme, but also joined by the exciting blue bezel with blue dial. The most pleasant surprise is that the new generation of Pelagos uses the in-house assembled Tudor MT5612 models movement.

The new Tudor Pelagos size is 42mm, the new blue theme comes from the French navy, the matte finishing give low-key feeling, while to costume the dial, the blue ceramic bezel also use matte touch. Pelagos using the same "snowflake" hands, while the hour markers and the ceramic bezel are all coated with luminous material, even in harsh environment, the watch and marks can still be seen.

The MT5612 movement can provide approximately 70 hours of power reserve, is Tudor's first movement that is certified by the Swiss chronometer testing center. As a result of its self developed movement, the structure and size have now changed, so the bottom of the case is also slightly changed according to the design.

The new Pelagos also retains the titanium case, stainless steel case back, patented adjustment clasp, and this clasp has the patented adjustable spring, and is very easy to adjust the strap length. In addition, the Pelagos also comes with a rubber strap, this strap can also be extended so the divers can easily adjust the length too.
