Uni-Directional Rotating Bezel

Elapsed time rotating bezel is usually find on diving watch and move only in anticlockwise direction. The bezel can turn to align zero with seconds and minutes hand so the diver can read the elapsed time after a period of time.

The purpose of the one-direction turning bezel is to prevent the diver accidentally moves the bezel off its original position and overestimating the remaining oxygen supply. Most diving watches are ratcheted and they lock tightly with the main watch case.
