Chronograph watch is a watch with timing function, binding the stopwatch function to the watch. Chronograph watch is invented by George Graham. Whether it is mechanical watches, quartz watches or even digit LCD display watch, all of these types have products with chronograph function. Due to the complexity of the mechanical watch movement, the price of this type of watch is usually more expensive.
Generally chronograph watches are divided into single-seconds chronograph, split-seconds chronograph, single-button, double-button type and other structures. Standard chronograph will have 30-minute and 12-hour timing function, the central seconds hand on the dial usually stops at the zero position.
Starting the chronograph function and the central seconds hand will go round one circle, and the 30-minute hand will go forward a grid, representing one minute, and when 30-minute hand go twice the circle, 12-hour time display will go forward a grid, representing one hour. Press stop, central seconds hand will stop, derive the timed time. Press start will continue timing, and if you want to start from zero again, you must press stop and press reset to initialize the timer.
